The time has finally come: after a long, gray winter, spring has arrived in Berlin. Lively live music can be heard in the Britzer Garden at the season opening. At the start of the gardening season, numerous boat and ship models will once again parade across the lake. The garden itself undoubtedly plays another major role: numerous colorful flowers spread a spring atmosphere.

Fans of knights and the Middle Ages have a lot to offer at the traditional Easter Knight Spectaculum in Spandau: historical music by “Corvus Corax”, theater and acrobatics with the “Flugträumer” as well as a fire show and a fakir show. And of course knight fights on the ground and knight tournaments on horseback cannot be missed at a medieval festival.

In the Berlin Easter Run, participants circle the Schlachtensee several times, depending on the route they choose. The lakeside path stretches over 5,303 meters. March 29 – 31, 2024
A trip over the Easter holidays is worth it just for the magical backdrop of the spring-like museum village. But the open-air museum has even more to offer at Easter: numerous family offers and hands-on activities invite you to playfully explore the topic of sustainability. For example, children can do crafts, paint Easter eggs or weave washcloths.

Easter in the Gardens of the World
